This is a maintenance release of Furnace on Autodesk IFFFS products with licensing removed from the Burn sparks.

Fixed Bugs
- There was a bug on 64 bit Linux systems that could cause all of the Furnace plug-ins to crash. This has been fixed.

- BUG ID 8287 - sparks that use frames other than the current one, will render black when applied on the Timeline.
- F_MatchGrade - BUG ID 8616 - intermittently crashes with some combinations of 2K footage.
- F_ReGrain - BUG ID 8644 - crashes on load on HP Z800 systems : WORKAROUND TO THIS BUG: Set the following environment variables in the shell prior to running FFIS host:

- Batch - BUG ID 691 - more stability problems, particularly with multiple Furnace nodes in batch, have been fixed that would cause crashes on Irix.
Known Bugs & Workarounds
- In batch on Flame 2007 on Linux building a node tree with a Furnace plug-in going into Kronos will crash. This does not happen in Flame 9.5.10 on Linux. As a workaround use separate trees or the desktop until we find a solution.
- Although this version is better than 3.0v3, some intermittent stability issues remain in Batch. As a workaround, use the plug-ins in Desktop mode.

Licensing. Th ability to return a floating license to the server after a period of inactivity has been added. Previously, a license would be returned only if the spark was unloaded or the application quit. To enable this feature you must install FFT4.0v8 or later and use the environment variable FOUNDRY_HEARTBEAT_DISABLE true.

- F_EdgeMatte - Snap to Edge button causes a crash if no roto is drawn. This has been fixed.

- F_ChannelRepair - repairs defects in one colour channel using information from undamaged colour channels.
- F_DirtRemoval - scans frames for dirt using motion estimation, highlights the dirt and repairs it
- F_ColourMatte - creates mattes of arbitrary foregrounds over backgrounds without using blue screens.
- F_EdgeMatte - roto assist tool that snaps splines to edges,
- F_MotionRepair - recreates missing or damaged frames using motion estimation technology.
- F_MotionSmooth - uses motion estimation and a three way median filter to rebuild all frames in a clip. This process is good at cleaning up temporally changing artefacts.
- F_SmartFill - rebuilds missing or damaged areas of a frame by looking at pixels around the area and intelligently growing inwards.
- F_SmartPlate - creates large clean plates from a sequence of frames.
- F_Smartzoom - high quality scaling of images using temporal information
