For a long time there has been a missing link between editing, visual effects and finishing software. Existing tools were both expensive and involved laborious manual processes. The Foundry’s conforming software, HIERO, puts an end to this, offering production facilities a simple, effective way to conform and manage their shots.
HIERO lets customers import footage, shots, EDLs, XMLs and any other information or metadata into one place, so it can be automatically categorised and structured. Our conform software also acts as a timeline for NUKE, our high-end compositing system. HIERO’s open, scriptable framework means it can work out of the box or be easily adapted to fit into some of the most complex pipelines in the industry.

HIEROPLAYER is a VFX review tool built for artists, complementing HIERO and integrating with NUKE, and the VFX pipeline. Giving access to the full HIERO project on the VFX workstation, HIEROPLAYER lets artists view shots in the context of a conformed HIERO timeline and quickly review versions of renders.
