Which The Foundry products are used in FILM?

Compositing

NUKEX is the industry standard Swiss army knife for film compositing. Battle tested on the most ambitious visual effects projects ever attempted, NUKEX is proven to deliver a robust pipeline able to adapt and scale to any production's demands.

NUKEX also eases the process of working in stereo with a multi-view pipeline at its core.

Shot management, conform and review

HIERO is a pipeline in a box from The Foundry. A shot management, conform and review timeline bringing missing link functionality to the visual effects pipeline that will improve your facility's efficiency and shot throughput volume.

VFX review tool built for artists

HIEROPLAYER is a VFX review tool built for artists, complementing HIERO and integrating with NUKE, and the VFX pipeline.  Giving access to the full HIERO project on the VFX workstation, HIEROPLAYER lets artists view shots in the context of a conformed HIERO timeline and quickly review versions of renders.

Solving Stereo Problems

The Foundry's award-winning plug-in toolset for NUKEX, OCULA tackles additional common stereoscopic challenges delivering a higher quality audience experience, while often saving time and money in production.

3D Texture Painting

MARI is a 3D Digital Paint package designed from the ground up to meet the requirements of the most demanding film productions. Originally created to handle the exceedingly ambitious look development and texture requirements on Avatar, MARI will revolutionise your workflow and free up your artists.

3D software package

MODO by Luxology is a cutting-edge and artist friendly 3D software package that combines modeling, painting, animation and rendering in a single integrated powerful package. The new generation in 3D software, MODO is a true end-to-end solution that offers a fresh, flexible and modular approach.
