The Foundry will be in Warsaw September 15, joined by our guest speaker the award-winning Cinematic Director & VFX Supervisor Hugo Guerra.
The Foundry’s Creative specialist Martin Mayer will begin the afternoon presenting the key features to our latest software updates on both NUKE 10 and KATANA 2.5. We’ll also be joined by the Autodesk Shotgun team who’ll be talking about their tools for collaborative teamwork.
Following Autodesk, our guest speaker Hugo Guerra will take the stage to showcase his latest work using VFX in games cinematics for Homefront: The Revolution. Hugo has worked on a number of award-winning VFX projects, in-game cinematics for games like Call of Duty, Until Dawn, and Ghosts, and directed the multi-VES-awarded Audi Hummingbird commercial... to mention just a few.
Platige image will finish the event by presenting their latest work in computer graphics, 3D animation, and digital special effects before we meet in their gardens for a BBQ dinner and drinks.

Catch up with members of The Foundry team at IBC from Friday, September 9 to Monday, September 12. Our Creative Specialists Richi Paramo and Martin Mayer will be floating the show floor over the weekend showcasing The Foundry’s media production tools. You’ll find us on our partners booths: FilmLight (Hall 6: F31) and Nokia (Hall 13: MS25) from Friday, September 9 to Sunday, September 11 and AMD (Hall 6: H35) from Friday, September 9 to Monday, September 12.
The Foundry will be in São Paulo, Brazil on August 30 for a happy hour and user group event with our regional partner Drivesys.
The Foundry's Creative Specialist Terry Riyasat will be putting NUKE STUDIO 10 through its paces, and showing off its faster performance, increased stability, and really cool tools like the amazing new Smart Vector toolset, not to mention real-time keying and color correction on the timeline.
Terry will then highlight how the CARA VR plug-in toolset for NUKE helps speed up common post-production tasks when working with live-action cinematic 360° VR footage. He’ll show you how to stitch, clean up and composite 360° video content, and share techniques and best practices for using CARA VR within NUKE to enable the creation of high-quality virtual reality experiences.
