Come meet The Foundry team, and local reseller Socrates at the Dutch Film Academy- Amsterdam, this November. The Foundry Creative Specialist Martin Mayer will be leading this event as he showcases the newest versions of NUKE, KATANA, MARI, MODO and CARA VR with some sneak previews of future tech too.
This will be a great opportunity to meet the team, and ask any tech-related questions you may have.

Jordan Thistlewood, Senior Product Manager of Look Development and Lighting, will reveal how KATANA brings both power to VFX and animation pipelines, and freedom to their artists. You’ll discover why so many studios—both large and small—have chosen to deploy KATANA.
Joining our team from Vancouver will be MPC’s Head of Compositing Vladislav Arkhtyrskiy, presenting how MPC used The Foundry’s KATANA and NUKE to bring Disney’s Jungle Book story to life.
Also, don’t miss Double Negative's 2D Sequence Supervisor Raphael Hamm as he shares some fireproofed compositing tricks in his talk My secret NUKE kitchen. In his presentation, Raphael will give some insights into his recent work on the likes of Terminator Genisys and the Oscar®-winning film Interstellar!

The Foundry will be in Atlanta with our partners at CineSys-Oceana on Tuesday, November 29 to showcase how our tools can help you deliver stunning content and film-quality VFX for your short- and long-form projects.
The Foundry’s Creative Specialist Terry Riyasat will show you how NUKE 10 can get the job done faster, with new tools like the amazing Smart Vector toolset, plus real-time keying and color correction on the timeline. Terry will also show you how NUKE and CARA VR speed up live-action cinematic 360° VR post-production.
Joergen Geerds, CEO at Koncept VR, will be joining us to talk about their collaboration with NUKE and CARA VR. Based in NYC, Koncept VR is an end-to-end production agency that focuses on providing cinematic 360º video content and VR experiences for a variety of brands including Samsung, Coca-Cola, The New York Times, United Launch Alliance and British Airways.
And as always, there will be cold beverages and lots of great food. This is a free event and everyone’s welcome—but advance registration is mandatory.
Refreshments and welcome start at 6:00 p.m., followed by presentations from 7:00 p.m to 8:15 p.m., leaving plenty of time for networking with your colleagues and industry peers before and after.
